This space created Clinic Space on the Vandalia Campus that is both efficient for staff and comfortable for patients.
Work included demolition of existing buildings and relocation of an identified fiber line that was the main hub for the city of Vandalia.
The building is a steel structure with a concrete foundation, brick veneer with a metal wall panel, and a glass curtain wall exterior. Interior finishes include metal stud and gypsum board assemblies, CMU partitions, hollow metal and aluminum-framed doors, intricate acoustical and metal ceiling assemblies, casework and solid-surface tops, and resilient and carpet floors.
Roof-mounted air-handler units with state-of-the-art instrumentation and controls keep the space’s temperature and humidity at a comfortable level for staff and patients.
Exterior work included landscaping, a new concrete parking lot, along with repairs made to the existing lot, and sidewalks.
