Safety Inspector/Coordinator
Applicant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing GCI’s safety program, and coordianating with our 3rd party safety consultant, conducting regular safety inspections, investigating accidents, providing safety training, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations to prevent workplace injuries and maintain a safe working environment
Skills and qualifications for a safety coordinator:
- Strong understanding of occupational safety and health regulations (OSHA)
- Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and educate employees
- Analytical skills to investigate incidents and identify root causes
- Ability to develop and implement safety programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
